A colorful tribute to Mexico’s art, culture and traditions.

Guests was invited to embrace the colorful, warm and vibrant heritage of Mexico in a series of Mexican themed activities including a Mexican expo of fine Mexican produce such as wine, cheese, crafts and fine art. The resorts also was welcoming guests of honor, fashion designer Maria Rosario Mendoza to showcase her Takasami label and studio potter Valentín Garcia Magaña from Tonala, Jalisco who will be representing Artesanías Erandi, as well as Mariachis, dancers and other tributes to Mexico’s ancient traditions.

Offering an explosion of cultural flavors to celebrate Mexico’s Independence, Made in Mexico will run throughout the month of September, serving specialty Mexican dishes at the resort’s restaurants as well as tequila tastings. During the week prior to September 16th, when Mexico honors its independence from Spain each year, guests will enjoy a more intense tailored program of events to celebrate Mexico’s heritage.
