PUERTO VALLARTA (March 01, 2024) — TAFER Hotels & Resorts, an award-winning hospitality company with an ever-growing collection of luxury resorts and boutique villas located throughout Mexico’s most coveted beach destinations, proudly announces the anticipated return of its third annual Wellness Month. Throughout  June, TAFER invites guests to immerse themselves in a diverse array of culinary, fitness and mindful events and activities, all aimed at nurturing self-care. Taking place at each of its luxury all-inclusive properties across Los Cabos, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta, Wellness Month promises an experiential journey tailored to wellbeing, coupled with TAFER’s genuine signature hospitality. Mirroring the success of prior years, each resort will curate a robust calendar of events, workshops, and classes guided by esteemed fitness trainers, nutritionists, yoga teachers, holistic therapists, and other professionals in the health and wellness space.

Healthy Dining   

During Wellness Month, guests will have access to a selection of healthy and gourmet culinary options across each property including interactive beverage stations making fresh cold-pressed juices and smoothies, as well as signature tonics and beverages like ginger lemonade and tea infusions. Within each of TAFER’s signature restaurants, a Wellness Corner will showcase additional healthy options for diners with helpful nutritional information for each dish. Vegan diners can also opt for completely vegan menu options at each culinary outlet. Artisanal cooking classes showcasing healthy locally sourced ingredients will also be available for guests to participate in, and for an additional fee, a complete Robata culinary experience will be offered at Japanese restaurant, Hiroshi. At the open-air Tierra Luna Gardens in Puerto Vallarta, guests can embark on a botanical garden tour, followed by a guided class on how to prepare herbal infused smoothies and healthy beverages.

Fitness & Activity  

For a fully immersive fitness experience, all properties in Los Cabos, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta will present a schedule of activities ranging from a stretching class and vinyasa yoga under TAFER’s beloved Orange Tree, to aqua fitness, bike tours on the sand, tai chi and pilates classes, tennis and volleyball tournaments, cardio-focused bootcamps, lively Zumba dance classes, paddleboard yoga, and much more. For those who want to relax and unwind, hatha yoga and meditation classes will be offered, in addition to aura cleansing on the beach. Amidst the Puerto Vallarta jungles at Hotel Mousai and Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa, guests can also embark on guided nature hikes ranging in difficulty and skill level or kayaking tours to the famed Los Arcos National Marine Park.       

Mindfulness  

Alongside experts in the wellness field, resort guests will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of mindful activities during their time on property. Program offerings will include everything from sunrise meditations, to purifying ceremonies atop sun-soaked decks, full moon rituals, sound meditation and healings, and more. Additionally, for the skincare and spa enthusiasts, the resorts will offer workshops where guests can learn how to give a proper massage or create exfoliating scrubs and face masks using local ingredients and Natura Bisse products, as well as the opportunity to experience the healing powers of water during Spa Imagine’s interactive Hydrotherapy Circuit. Come bedtime, a dedicated Pillow Menu will be available to guests with a variety of pillows types to choose from, ranging from soft and cloud-like to firm, as well as an Aromatherapy Menu with a selection of soothing oil scents like lavender, eucalyptus and cinnamon spice for a blissful night’s sleep.
