At TAFER Hotels & Resorts, we are proud to share our Zero Plastic Initiative. Our objective is to eliminate single-use bottles while providing the highest quality drinking water. Through this initiative, you contribute to the preservation of our planet.
We bottle our water to help protect the environment, using 100% reusable glass bottles.
By the end of 2022, TAFER replaced all in-room individually packaged toiletries with refillable 300 ml shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers at each resort, while also eliminating single-use plastics from hotel restaurants, bars, public areas, and guestrooms. With the removal of in-room disposable water bottles, guests are provided with branded glass bottles that can be conveniently refilled from the personal water dispenser located in their room.
In addition, to effectively sanitize while conserving water, TAFER’s dining outlets utilize the innovative technology of MEIKO professional dishwashers, reducing water consumption by up to 70%.
Through these initiatives, TAFER expects to significantly reduce its environmental footprint by preventing the production of more than 65 tons of plastic waste and avoiding the emission of over 150 tons of carbon dioxide per resort each year.
