PUERTO VALLARTA (January 01, 2024) — TAFER Hotels & Resorts – a leisure and hospitality company with an array of award-winning hotels, luxury resorts, and boutique villas throughout Mexico’s most coveted beach destinations—is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural TAFER Wine Program, debuting with its first collection, the Voyage Collection – comprised of a cabernet sauvignon blend, chardonnay, and rosé blend – produced exclusively for TAFER by renowned El Cielo Winery.

Expressive of the unique Valle de Guadalupe terroir and in partnership with the renowned El Cielo Winery, known for its award-winning astronomically themed wine blends grown across 86 acres, the TAFER Voyage Collection encompasses three exceptional varietals – Phoenix, a woody Cabernet Sauvignon blend of franc, merlot and malbec; Stellar, a refreshing chardonnay with notes of pineapple, guava and nutmeg; and Solstice, a rosé blend of zinfandel, malbec and sangiovese with notes of peach and citrus.
As part of the official launch of the Voyage Collection, TAFER Hotels & Resorts will be hosting a series of dynamic culinary and wine pairing events at its luxury resorts throughout Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Cancun in February and March 2024. Attendees will enjoy an exclusive first taste of the TAFER wines – with guidance by El Cielo Winery’s Sommelier, Georgina Estrada - along with an expertly paired, multicourse menu of seasonal dishes curated by distinguished local and regional sommeliers and chefs including Javier Plascencia (Jazamango, Erizo, and Finca Altozano), Mario Papa García (Teté Cocina de Barrio) and Chef Dante Ferrero (Dante Brasa y Fuego). Events available to hotel guests, are as follows:
• Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun - February 16 & 17
Cocktail celebration at TierraLuna Gardens on February 16 ($175/person), followed by a 4-course pairing dinner at Blanca Blue Restaurant on February 17 ($241/person). These events can also be purchased together for $300/person.
• Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos - February 29

Rooftop cocktail event at Hotel Mousai’s Rooftop South on March 6 ($175/person), followed by a 5-course pairing dinner at Karuma the Art of Grill in TierraLuna Gardens on March 7 ($271/person). These events can be purchased together for $376.
The TAFER Wine Program debuted alongside the highly acclaimed Meat Sommelier Program, which was introduced in 2023 at TAFER’s signature steakhouses across oceanfront properties in Cancun, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta. TAFER’s expert Meat Sommeliers guide diners through the art of meat selection, ensuring they choose the perfect cut to suit their unique preferences. Guests can enjoy the TAFER Voyage Collection wines at any of the dining destinations within TAFER’s Garza Blanca Resort & Spa and Hotel Mousai properties in Los Cabos, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta. Please note that while these wines can be enjoyed at the resort, they are available at an additional cost and are not included in the Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive Program, which covers all food and beverages except a few premium items, such as liquor and wines from the Cellar Selection, Moët Champagne, and others.
