What you Need to Know about the Weather in Cancun

Temperatures can vary from 66ºF (19ºC) to 91ºF (33ºC) with average high temperatures in summer reaching around 90ºF (32ºC) and hitting their lowest around the 75ºF (24ºC) mark. In winter, very pleasant temperatures, around 81ºF (27ºC) with an average low at night of 66ºF (19ºC), can be enjoyed by all. Escaping the winter blues is easy when you live in the USA and Canada; just hop down to Cancun on one of the many direct flights to enjoy the weather in Cancun.

Precipitation

As we said before there are generally only around 60 days of rain per year, and there is no real “rainy season” which means that you won’t have to worry about your whole vacation getting washed out by a monsoon or rogue deluge. In fact, if you see any rain it will most likely be a quick shower. Two showers if you are really unlucky.;
