Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta Earns Prestigious AAA Five Diamond Designation for the 12th Consecutive Year
TAFER Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce that its flagship adults-only resort, Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta, has once again been awarded the prestigious AAA Five Diamond distinction. This marks the 12th consecutive year the property has received this elite honor, further cementing its position as the first and only AAA Five Diamond resort in the entire state of Jalisco.
As highlighted in the AAA Five Diamond list, fewer than 0.5% of the nearly 30,000 hotels inspected across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean achieve this elite rating. Five Diamond properties must consistently surpass expectations through rigorous, unannounced annual inspections conducted by trained professional evaluators.
Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta earned its first AAA Five Diamond designation in 2015 and continues to set the standard for sophisticated, adults-only travel in Mexico. Building upon this remarkable success, TAFER expanded the brand with the debut of Hotel Mousai Cancún, ushering in a bold new chapter for the collection.
Nestled along the lush south shore of Puerto Vallarta with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Hotel Mousai seamlessly blends contemporary design with ultimate indulgence. The property features 145 suites, each with a private terrace and outdoor Jacuzzi for an immersive indoor-outdoor living experience. Beyond the rooms, guests enjoy six gourmet restaurants, two rooftop infinity pools, and an exclusive curation of wellness and leisure experiences—including direct access to TierraLuna Gardens, a vibrant open-air cultural village within the neighboring Garza Blanca Preserve featuring rotating art exhibitions, boutique shopping, and live cultural programming.
